Top 5 Things to Do in Little Italy NYC

It's Sightseeing Sunday! So I'm taking the time to explore some of the gems in my own backyard.

Little Italy is a must-see neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, once home to a huge Italian population. The neighborhood's main street is Mulberry - a popular street that runs through the area. It is closed on summer weekends and transformed into a pedestrian shopping mall, which is how I snagged my photo. Little Italy boasts good eats, vintage stores, art, and tons of souvenir shops. Plus, it's Chinatown adjacent. #IYKYK

There's so much to explore throughout Little Italy. Below are just a few of my faves:

Also known as the first pizzeria in the United States. Disclaimer: Joe's Pizza is my ABSOLUTE favorite!

In September, the 11-day annual Feast is celebrated in honor of an Italian Saint and Bishop of Naples.There is music, vendors, carousels, parades, and a cannoli eating contest.

Currently under renovation, the museum explores the lives of Italians in America exhibiting a historical collection of documents, images, art and personal biographies.

Little Italy is known for their great hidden graffiti. One of the most well-known of the city is located at 176 Mulberry St which features a mural of the the icon, Audrey Hepburn.
